Welcome

There is a place for you in our Father’s family here at First Baptist Church of Sycamore. Our church is about:

  • Loving God
  • Loving each other
  • Loving our neighbors locally and across the globe

Love and truth are at the heart of our church. Our church values God’s Word – His love letters to us in the Bible. Through His truth illuminated by the Holy Spirit, we come to know Jesus personally, as our Savior, our Lord, our Friend.

This annual senior high trip is a training event where kids from around the area gather at Saugatuck, MI for a weekend of evangelism training and a lot of outside activities.

       Chili / Soup Cookoff
      March 1 – noon

Each year FBC sponsors a chili (soup) cook off to help raise awareness of FBC’s work on the mission field. Everyone is invited, and it’s FREE! If you’d like to enter, dust off your recipes and be thinking about a creative display! If you don’t care to bring a pot of chili or soup, you’re still encouraged to attend. There will be hot dogs and chips available, and you can roam around the gym and sample each soup and chili. Love offerings go directly to missions.

      Isaiah 58:11

The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
